The invitation only event showcases Japan's biggest confectionery makers current and upcoming product lines, with stalls including well-known confectionery brands, local specialty sweets producers, and even small artisanal confectioners.
With many products slated for release in Autumn and onwards, there were a particularly large number of chocolate and gummy releases. Being Japan, there were also a large number of products featuring intricate and elaborate details such as;

As well as a massive collection of senbei and okaki rice cracker varieties and gift sets, chocolates, mochi and youkan jellies and fun DIY candy & chocolates.
We had a great time sampling far too many sweets and snacks (for research purposes only of course ;) and are excited for all the new releases coming our (and your) way soon...

サクラボックスは先日、マイドーム大阪で毎年開催される「お菓子展示会」に招待されました。
招待者限定のこのイベントでは、日本最大の製菓メーカーの現在および今後の製品ラインが紹介され、有名な製菓ブランド、地元の特製スイーツメーカー、さらには小規模の職人製菓子店などのお店が出店します。
秋以降に発売予定の商品が多く、特にチョコレートやグミの発売が多く 日本ということもあり、細部にまでこだわった商品も数多くありました。
